PU2K SOLVENT-BASED WOOD PAINT
PU2K solvent-based wood paint is one of the popular wood paints, commonly used to finish natural or industrial wood details while still retaining beautiful wood grain. Normally, the wood detail finishing stage is done through the following steps:
Step 1: First primer
Primer mixed in the ratio of 2: 1: 3 (2 primers: 1 hard, 3 gasoline). The drying time is 25-30 minutes. About 40-60 minutes after spraying, it is possible to sand the first time.
Step 2: Second primer
The second primer is intended to increase the smoothness of the wooden surface and the surface to be smoother. The drying time is 25-30 minutes. After 40 to 60 minutes of spraying, it is possible to sand the surface for the second time
Step 3: Paint with sprayer
You should paint in 2 layers. In the first layer, you should only use about 90% of the color sample, wait 10-20 minutes, then proceed to paint the second time on the wooden surface, completing 100% of the color sample required. At the second layer, the drying time is 25-30 minutes.
Step 5: Paint the topcoat
After the color coating has dried, apply the topcoat. The topcoat includes gloss paint, matte paint coating 30%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The drying time is 30-40 minutes. Completely dry waiting time is usually 12 to 16 hours for the 2K PU coating process.
